COMBINED APPROACH TO THE SACROILIAC JOINT
A progressive integrated approach to the assessment, interpretation and management of pelvic motion dysfunction. The course will cover manipulative, mobilisation and muscle energy techniques and exercise prescription for pelvic motion dysfunction. It aims to provide a straightforward yet comprehensive approach to the wide variety of pelvic disorders that present to musculoskeletal physiotherapists.

CLINICAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGY COURSE
Course Description:
This two day course will focus on reviewing aspects of neurophysiology, its relevance to the clinical presentation of patients and to current physiotherapy treatment approaches and interventions.
Course Aims:
This course has the following aims:
To provide an overview of the role of the medial and lateral systems, the basal ganglia, cerebellum and spinal cord in the control of movement.
To link theoretical aspects to the clinical presentation of patients with neurological deficits.
To examine contemporary physiotherapy treatments and interventions with reference to current neurophysiology.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course the participant will have:
Reviewed the neuroanatomy and function of key areas of motor control including the medial and lateral systems, basal ganglia, cerebellum and the spinal cord.
Have sufficient information to be able to relate pathology to clinical features in individuals with neurological deficits.
Have an understanding of the rationale behind some aspects of current physiotherapy approaches to the treatment of individuals with neurological deficits.
